Born in Louvain (Belgium) on 22nd of August 1988, Charlotte Beerts grew up on the countryside where she developed her passion for animals, nature and sports (horse riding, tennis, sailing, hiking and skiing). She is a real go-getter and at the age of 16 she climbed to the top of the Kilimanjaro. She passed her school career alternately in French and Dutch, while choosing modern languages as an option during her humanities, making her perfectly trilingual.

In 2012 she obtained her master in Veterinary Medicine with distinction at the University of Liege and received the Pfizer Scientific Price for her Master thesis on Equine Infectious Anaemia. After graduating, she followed an internship in the Equine Hospital Equitom and worked for six months in human clinical research. She joined GST in January 2014 and is currently working as a Head of Clinical Development for the team.

Charlotte wrote several scientific publications and is regularly attending veterinary conferences.
