    Functional capacities

As already mentioned, MSCs have the capacity to form cartilage, bone, fat, muscle and tendon. The use of MSCs could thus  potentially induce ectopic tissue formation.
By predifferentiating our stem cells, we produce tissue specific MSCs that will have a more homogenous adhesion to the lesion site. Therefore, we chondrogenically and tenogenically induce our MSCs for applications in cartilage and tendon lesions respectively.
